Hey John, I haven't checked your site for a while. What a shock on Jeff Sarli. The guy was a rock on that bass and will be sorely missed. My condolences to you and the rest of the band over the loss of a good friend and a great musician.

Hey John, Saw you and your whole band at Jazz Fest.WOW!!! WHat an amazing show that was! I just heard about a blues fest on 11/18 at the KOA on Pine Island...any chance you are playing??? The fans must be restless...no shows scheduled? Everything OK? Are you busy with parenting? Lotsa good energy and well-wishing waves coming atcha, my friend. Namaste, Lindy

Hi John. I brought my wife and a freind up to Milestones to see yer show. Gotta tell you, I first saw you at Eisenhower College. When was that? '76? I've caught your shows every once in a blue moon ever since, but I don't travel much and you don't get up this way a lot. Louise McGhee just kills me on the new album as does Do You Love Me. Keep doin' what you do because you gotta and we love you!

John, So good to see you and we loved the show. Your music is great! Keep it up!! The City of New Orleans is lucky you fell in love with it and feel so connected there. See you next time you're in town or close by. Please come back to the Naples area for the Grape Festival soon.

I was disappointed to hear that the benefit concert tonight featuring John at the Kean Theatre in Gibsonia (outside Pittsburgh) has been cancelled. Any idea whether it will be rescheduled?

John--
So sorry to read of Jeff Sarli's passing. I saw you play with him many times from '97 until this year. I'll never forget watching you climb up the side of his bass in mid-song and stand with one foot in the cutaway and one foot on his back while you two continued to roar through the cut (can't remember the song, unfortunately). That was in '97 or '98 at Blind Willie's in Atlanta. With all the changeover you've had in drummers over the years I always thought it was great that you and he could be so steady for each other.
Take care of yourself and keep doing what you do.
