Hi John! How are you? Do you remember me? I played drums with you in a couple of shows last year in Italy and what a great time for me!! I'm fine and this is a great year for my blues band! We had a short tour in england last month and we will play in Ireland in June! Great! Hope to see you soon in Italy and if you want you can write me at italograziana@alice.it

I've purchased a few of John's CDs over the years and have always hoped he would reutrn to the western NY area for a show. I saw John many many times in the 70s, and must have been to the same venue as the siner below because I also remember the venue that served beer in large mason jars.

Hope you make it out to NorCal some time. I used to go listen to the John Mooney Blues Band in the late 70's near Rochester, NY in a little dive that served beer in mason jars. Good times, good beer, great music!

Hello from ancient roots! Back then I was Willy and you were Turtle. I got the All I Want CD as Christmas gift on a recent trip back to the homeland. Impressive! Love the tunes and the tone on the guitar is VERY cool. Went to see you at a Blues Fest in San Diego, but you never made it due to weather in New Orleans, had to settle for Robert Cray! Saw you in Rochester NY in Sept. You're the most dynamic, expressive slide guitarist I've ever heard. Your live sound is incredible. Would you be willing to share any info on your Artex Strat(s)? What kind of wood? What kind of pick-ups? Wiring? I've looked but never been able to find anything on Artex. Tx.
