Thanks to Fran, I saw you perform twice this past weekend; a dream come true. I believe this makes it 9 times I seen you perform! The joy and love that is woven through your unique amazing jaw dropping mesmerizing style makes your music the best I have ever heard anywhere anytime. You inspire me.

March 22, 2008. So the "Hardware Exiles" as he calls us stood in a steady rain and didn't even notice as we listened to the best blues man in the world. He is six feet but don't look it because he slouches all the time. He don't have a hair on his head, but he does have a soupy looking goatee and some size twelve cowboy boots. His big ol' ears are pierced and hang with African jujus, and he wears a big gold VooDoo cross on a chain of hair and teeth and bone...has to be his contract with the devil as no one has ever been that good...played a chrome National and two or three others that would probably be worth $50 thou, and wears a black cat bone on his left pinky...he sat there mounted by Lucifers own Loa and worked black magic, spells cast in rain, apparently. Clapton, Healey, Santana, even Knopfler...they would all have to hang their heads...all the Blind Lemons and Howling Wolves too...nobody EVER played bottleneck like this man. I stood a few feet away at one point with tears streaming down my cheeks...he looked up and saw me, fingers ablur, and looked into my eyes for a moment. He didn't grin, he didn't wink...he just played the blues bluer than blue. The boy should be hanging in the Louvre, but there he sat, playing to a handfull of wet crackers from St. James...I suppose that was the deal he made...

It was around '93 when I discovered "Comin' Your Way" and swear it was music to my soul. Any of your stuff I could lay hands on played over and over for months and provided great contentment. At the time life was dealing me unspeakable hardship in a marriage gone very wrong... The absolute void of pleasure was softened significantly by your music. By far my darkest hour, and honestly I'm not sure I'd have made it through without it. You should know that your music touches people's lives, sometimes with great gravity.. Coincidently, my older brother Eric is the man behind the annual Chenango Blues Festival held in Norwich, New York,, but I am your #1 fan. I wish for you to never feel disallusioned. Thank you and regards, Curt

Hey John, Long time no see.Since Ra Cha Cha to be exact. We partied at some little club in the country. You were with my friend red haired Sherry at the time. You tore the house down all by yourself with just your guitar. Voice booming to the back of the club and no one could sit still. Wonderful time and a great memory. Karen and Michael Diego

Never heard of you until my mother introduced me to your music approximately 10 years ago, when she saw you live in New Jersey. That's also when I discovered that you and I are related. Your mother's father, Harold (Zachary) Taylor (aka Uncle Zach), and my mother's father, Henry Lewis Taylor, were brothers. Does that make us second cousins if your mother and my mother are first cousins? Never was familiar with how that lineage thing works.
Anyway, I love your music and listen to it quite often! Can't believe I didn't discover your music long before discovering that you were a relative of mine. Would love to see you in concert sometime. Ever think of doing a performance in Colorado?
